City Description
Ayer, MA, located in Middlesex County, is 14 miles West of Lowell, MA (center to center) and 30 miles NortWest of Boston, MA.
Although it was originally an agricultural community, the first mill was built in Ayer in 1667. The Nipmuc Indians, who were the first inhabitants of the area, called the area Nainacocius. The town, which used to be part of Groton, was also known as Groton Junction and South Groton, but in 1871, it was incorporated as the town of Ayer. It was named for Dr. James Cook Ayer, a patent-medicine manufacturer who provided the funds to construct the Ayer Town Hall.

We charge $ 155.50 from Ayer to Boston Logan International Airport on our Economy vehicle. On our Sport Utility 6 Pax (SUV) the rate is $230.50, Please add an extra $10 when being picked up at the airport. An Early Morning Fee of $20 will be added to all pick ups between 12AM and 4AM. When applicable, tolls will be added to every trip at face value. Gratuity is not included.
